Registration Information

2020 Registration Dates

PRE-REGISTRATION for returning 2019 players ONLY begins the week of January 20th, 2020 at noon, and can be done through our registration portal here. As in years past, registration is on-line only. The dates/times are as follows

Monday, January 20th at noon – 11/12 Division (born 2009/2008)
Tuesday, January 21st at noon – 5 and 6 Divisions (born in 2015/2014)
Wednesday, January 22nd at noon – 7 and 8 Divisions (born in 2013/2012)
Thursday, January 23rd at noon – 9/10 Division (born in 2011/2010) and 13/14 Division (born in 2007/2006)

There is no Pre-registration for the 4 Division – all spots will be filled through the open registration process the following week.

OPEN REGISTRATION for new players to the league begins the week of January 27th, 2020 at noon, and can be done through our online registration portal here. (A ‘new’ player is a child who has never played in the league, or one who has played in the league in previous years but not last season.) The dates/times are as follows:

Monday, January 27th at noon – 4 Division (born 2016) and 11/12 Division (born 2009/2008)
Tuesday, January 28th at noon – 5 and 6 Divisions (born in 2015/2014)
Wednesday, January 29th at noon –7 and 8 Divisions (born in 2013/2012)
Thursday, January 30th at noon – 9/10 Division (born in 2011/2010) and 13/14 Division (born in 2007/2006)

NEW PARENTS to the league: Prior to registering your child, you will need to create a username/password and member/player profile(s) in the registration portal. Here’s how to do it:

1) Click here to set up your new profile.

2) On the left hand-side, fill in the 4 requested fields and click ‘Create Account’ (this info can be of the primary adult contact in your family).

3) Complete all fields for ‘Primary Contact Details’ and click ‘next’

4) At this stage, you will now create a profile for each player in your family, by clicking ‘Create New Player’. (This section will also allow you to add a second/alternate parent contact to your profile – e.g. your spouse – if you so choose, by clicking on ‘Create New Contact’.)

5) Once done, you can log out of the system

6) Please note, although there’s a ‘Register This Player’ button, it is currently NOT active and WILL NOT be active until registration opens on your respective dates in January 2020

Cost per player in 2020 is $170.00. The fee includes a jersey, shorts, socks, practice ball and a participation medal in the younger age divisions. There is no family discount

Refund Policy
Request for refunds must be made in writing by email to Up to and including February 28th, 100% of fees will be refunded; from March 1st to March 31st, a $50 administrative charge will be deducted from the refund. From April 1st to May 17th 2019 a $75 administrative charge will be deducted from the refund. After May 17th any refunds will be made at the discretion of the Director of Operations or the BCSL’s Board of Directors.

Season Dates 

The season generally runs from the last week of May or the first week of June, and continues into the beginning of September depending on our permits supplied by the City of Toronto’s Department of Parks and Recreation. Each Division from ages 4-12 starts with a practice from 6:30 to 7:00, followed by a game. The 13/14 Division does not have practice time on game night, and games are scheduled at 7 or 8pm depending on the team.

(Schedule and days of play are subject to change, depending on field permits issued by the city.)

Birth year 2011/2010 (9/10 Division)
Thursdays 6:30pm-8:00pm at PP, BW or WP

Birth year 2009/2008  (11/12 Division)
Mondays 6:30pm to 8:00pm at PP, BW or WP

Birth year 2007/2006  (13/14 Division)
Thursdays 7:00 pm or 8:00pm at Cherry Beach

Spaces are limited:
If you expect your child to be absent for 50% or more games throughout the summer due to holidays or sleep-away camps, please re-consider registering them so a spot can be made available for another player who will be able to attend most of the games.

Waiting List:
Once a division is full, our on-line system automatically establishes a prioritized waiting list of up to a maximum of 20 players depending on the division. E-mail requests are not accepted. You may get on a waitlist by registering on-line where space is available. Waiting list placement in 2019 does not guarantee a spot for 2020, nor does it guarantee pre-registration for 2020.

Waiting lists are activated in descending order, if, and when, an official registrant drops out: either before the season, or after the season starts. Spots do open up, particularly in the younger age divisions. We will contact you if an opportunity arises for your child to play.

Each player will be provided with a jersey and shorts, soccer socks, and a soccer ball. Shin pads are mandatory for all levels and will not be provided. Soccer shoes are recommended for all but the 4 year old division, but are not mandatory.
